Julian Schwarz to be featured in School of Music concert April 2

Julian Schwarz, son of Seattle Symphony Maestro Gerard Schwarz, will be featured on the violoncello at the “Barry Lieberman & Friends” concert Sunday, April 2. He will be accompanied by School of Music doctoral piano student Tonya Siderius.


Schwarz will perform the Chopin Cello Sonata in G minor and the Rachmaninov Cello Sonata in G minor, Opus 19. He will be joined by Barry Lieberman on bass in the Boccherini Sonata for Cello and Basso Continuo in A major.


The concert is at 2 p.m. in Brechemin Auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.
