Morelli named to facilities post
Jill Morelli has been named director of facilities for the School of Medicine. Her appointment became effective on Nov. 1.
Morelli will be responsible for strategic planning, development, and management of space. She will also oversee the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and renovation of space in the School of Medicine.
Morelli has more than 30 years experience in construction and facilities management. Most recently, she was assistant vice president and university architect at Ohio State University, where she managed construction within five hospitals and six health sciences colleges, including the university’s College of Medicine.
Dr. John Slattery, vice dean for research and graduate education, will continue to manage space assignment for the School.
