Sound Transit plans November hearings

Sound Transit has issued a draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement and is seeking comment at two public hearings in November.

The draft evaluates refinements to the North Link route alternatives. There is a 48-day period, beginning Oct. 14, for public comment. The comment period ends Nov. 30.

The public hearings are from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 9 at Lowell Elementary School, 1058 E. Mercer St., in the lunchroom and multipurpose room, and Nov. 10 at University Heights, 5031 University Way NE, rooms 107 and 110. Individuals may comment orally at the meeting or submit written comments to the court reporter, or they may e-mail their comments to Sound Transit at northlinkenviornmental@soundtransit.org or mail them to James Irish, Link Environmental Manager, Sound Transit, Union Station, 401 S. Jackson St., Seattle, WA 98104-2826. Please include a mailing address with all comments.
