Sound Transit plans meeting
Sound Transit will host a meeting Feb. 3 to update the community on plans for construction of the two Link light rail stations near campus. The meeting, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., will be at the Watertown Hotel, 4742 Roosevelt Way NE.
The meeting will include a brief presentation at 7 p.m. Stadium Station, adjacent to Husky Stadium, will provide access to south campus. The platform will be 110 feet below ground with two entrances. Elevators, escalators and stairs will be provided at each entrance. Brooklyn Station will be located on Brooklyn Ave. NE between NE 43rd St. and NE 45th St. The station platform will be 80 feet below ground, with two entrances.
