Eldercare workshop set for March 6

The UW Eldercare Initiative is sponsoring an all-day eldercare workshop at the UW Bothell campus for the UW community and members of the public. The workshop, led by Seattle Times “Growing Older” columnist Liz Taylor, will be held Saturday, March 6, 10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Any member of the UW community is welcome to enroll, along with family members and others who have or anticipate eldercare concerns.

This practical, “how-to” session gives participants a comprehensive, step-by-step approach to find and assess quality long-term care resources. Participants also get worksheets and resources in the take-home Parent Care Resources Workbook.

Cost for the workshop is $65 per person. Deadline for registration is Friday, Feb. 27.

Information and a registration form is available on-line at: http://depts.washington.edu/retiremt/center/pages/workshops. htm.
