Parker to speak on teaching democracy

Walter Parker, a UW professor of education, will give a book talk and sign copies of his latest work, Teaching Democracy: Unity and Diversity in Public Life, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the faculty center conference room.

The event, sponsored by the Center for Multicultural Education, is free and open to the public.
