Undergrad dean candidates to speak

Finalists for the position of Dean of Undergraduate Education and Vice Provost at the UW will speak in special forums beginning today.

The four finalists, including the UW’s Acting Dean George Bridges and Honors Program Head Ana Mari Cauce, will present his or her vision of undergraduate education, after which attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

The forums are open to the public.

In addition to Bridges and Cauce, the finalists include William Frawley, the faculty director of academic programs and planning at the University of Delaware, and James Anderson, the vice provost for undergraduate affairs at North Carolina State University.
