What is Microsoft Outlook?

Microsoft Outlook or Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft. Although often used mainly as an email application, it also provides a calendar, task and contact management, note taking, and a journal. It can be used as a stand-alone application or can operate in conjunction with Exchange server.

What is Microsoft Exchange?

Microsoft Exchange or Exchange Server is a messaging and collaborative software product developed by Microsoft. Exchange's major features consist of electronic mail, shared calendars and tasks, and support for mobile and Web-based access to information. It is used with MS Outlook.

What is UW Technology offering?

UW Technology will be offering Microsoft Exchange Server, used in conjunction with Outlook. The service will provide email, shared calendars and tasks, and provide support for mobile devices like the BlackBerry.

What are the project timelines?

No specific timeline is yet in place. We are beginning with a targeted deployment, and we anticipate that we will be able to quickly expand these services to all Nebula users who want them. Please watch this page for timeline updates.
