Unused Nebula Accounts are disabled
Security is a high priority for Nebula. One potential security vulnerability exists when accounts go unused due to employee separation or change of functions. As part of our ongoing efforts to keep Nebula secure, we enforce a policy that disables unused accounts.
The policy is to notify users by email when their account is unused for 30 days, and disable the account when it is unused for 60 days. Five months after the account has been disabled, the files in the associated home directory will be deleted from the file server. This data will be available for restore from tape for approximately one year after removal.
