MEDEX Northwest Accreditation
MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant program at the University of Washington is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) through 2018. Upon completion of an accredited program, graduates are eligible to take the national PA board examination offered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). MEDEX Northwest has had continuous accreditation since 1973. For more information about ARC-PA visit their website at http://www.arc-pa.org/ Certification and Licensure Graduates of the MEDEX Northwest PA Training Program sit for the PA National Certification Examination (PANCE) shortly after graduation. This examination is required for initial licensing / registration in all states. The first time pass rate for the five most recent MEDEX Northwest graduating classes, in comparison to the national pass rates, are as follows:
