MEDEX is hiring a Lecturer, Course Coordinator/Chair in Yakima WA

The MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington seeks a faculty member at its Yakima campus. Primary care clinicians (PAs, NPs and physicians) are encouraged to apply. This is a part-time position; FTE negotiable. Join an enthusiastic, stable faculty dedicated to preparing PAs to improve health care and advance the profession. Faculty duties include teaching, coordinating or chairing at least one course, advising students, admissions work and scholarly activity.

Teaching experience, in either a classroom or clinical setting, is required. A bachelor’s degree, current NCCPA certification (or equivalent) and two years of clinical experience are required. This is a non-tenure track appointment, renewable annually, at the faculty rank of Lecturer. The appointment is open now; review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
