MEDEX Northwest Program Information

MEDEX Northwest, the Physician Assistant Training Program at the University of Washington, School of Medicine is a certificate program with either a bachelors or a masters degree option.

MEDEX offers a Masters in Clinical Health Services degree option for 2010. Applicants interested in attaining a Masters degree in conjunction with their Physician Assistant training will apply to either the Seattle or Spokane training site. These are the only two sites accepting students into the Masters option. Yakima, WA. and Anchorage, AK. will accept students into a Bachelors degree option.

Students completing Physician Assistant training with a Bachelors degree and who become certified can choose to complete a Masters degree through a new MEDEX Extended Masters in Clinical Health Services degree option being offered in 2009 through UW Extension.
