Drive: Yakima is 145 miles from Seattle. It is a beautiful drive over Snoqualmie Pass and then through the Yakima River Canyon. Generally takes 2 ˝ to 3 hours. Toppenish is a 40-minute drive through the Yakima Valley passing numerous orchards and vineyards.
Fly: It is a quick 35-minute flight with great views of Mt. Rainier if weather is clear.

If Flying:

Yakima Airport to Yakima Pediatric Associates:

  1. From Airport Terminal:
  2. Take Right On W. Washington
  3. Take Left On S. 16th Ave
  4. Take Right On Tieton Drive At Fork In Road (Pine St.)
  5. Stay Left
  6. Take Left At S. 11th (Clinic On Corner)

If Driving:

Seattle to Yakima Pediatric Associates:

  1. I-90 East For 109 Miles
  2. At I-82 / I-90 Exit, Bear Right (South) Onto I-82 [Us-97]
  3. At I-82 Exit #31, Turn Right (West) Onto Us-12
  4. At Us-12 N. 16th Ave Exit, Turn Left (South) Onto N. 16th Ave
  5. Turn Left (East) Onto W. Yakima Ave
  6. Turn Right (South) Onto S. 11th Ave

Total mileage from Seattle to Yakima: Approx. 144 miles one-way

To/From Hotel:

Yakima Pediatric Associates to Oxford Suites: Miles
1. Start on S 11TH AVE 0.3
2. Turn Right on W YAKIMA AVE 0.8
3. Continue on E YAKIMA AVE 1.1
4. Continue on E YAKIMA AVE/TERRACE HEIGHTS WAY 0.3

Oxford Suites to Toppenish Community Hospital (for 8:00 am Grand Rounds):

Please allow a minimum of 30 Minutes for travel to Toppenish.

  1. Leave Oxford Suites and turn right onto Terrace Heights Drive.
  2. Proceed on Terrace Heights Drive and turn left to take the I-82 east ramp.
  3. Enter I-82 and proceed towards Toppenish (approximately 20 miles).
  4. Take Exit 50, turn right and proceed to Toppenish (approximately 3 miles).
  5. Upon entering Toppenish, proceed over the railroad tracks and then the road will curve slightly to the right.
  6. Proceed through the stoplight, and then take a left at the second street (West 4th Avenue).
  7. We are about a block and a half down on the right hand side. Can't miss us!

If you would prefer to take Highway 97, this is how you would find us:

  1. Take I-82 towards Toppenish.
  2. Just out of Union Gap, I-82 forks here, where you would take Highway 97 South.
  3. Proceed south past Wapato (there are two stoplights at Wapato), and continue to Toppenish.
  4. Take a left at the second Toppenish stoplight, and then at quick right onto West 4th Avenue.
  5. Again, we’re about a block and a half down on the right hand side.
