At the Clinical Unit

The schedules will vary and will include free time and weekends off as well as study time. There are no restrictions on attire at the Clinic as long as the clothes are clean and neat. (Use common sense). Nametags are mandatory on the Pediatric Floor!!

Night Call

The Pediatric WWAMI program is not currently requiring medical students to do night call.

Clerkship Schedule

You will spend approximately 2 weeks on the pediatric floor with hospitalists and/or residents. 2 weeks with your preceptors in outpatient clinics and 2 weeks of specialty clinics.

Pediatric Conferences

Sacred Heart Children's Hospital Pediatric Grand Rounds Attendance is a must. See your pediatric schedule for dates and times.
