Getting Ready for your Seattle Peds Rotation

The Pediatric Medical Student Program will contact you via email approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the start of your rotation. This email will request that you provide the following information:

• Social Security Number
  • Your SSN and middle name/initial are required in order for you to rotate at SCH.
  • Team requests will not be taken without your SSN and middle initial.
• Expected absences
  • This information will taken into consideration when team assignments are made.

The Pediatric Medical Student Program will contact you via email approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the start of your rotation with orientation information. This email contains information vital to the success of your clerkship, so keep your eyes out for it. Information includes:

• Where and when to meet on your first day
• How to complete the required web-based patient order system training
• How to sign up for the computer-based cases (curriculum)
