Dennis E. Mayock, MD

Dr. Mayock?s scholarly focus is on clinical research activities that have the potential to improve the quality of life for NICU patients, not only while inpatients, but also long term improvement in their health. This focus includes multiple clinical research interests that evaluate therapies that potentially may alter the development of Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia such as inhaled nitric oxide and late surfactant treatments. In collaboration with Drs. Juul and Gleason, he is evaluating whether high dose erythropoietin treatment has neuroprotective effects in preterm and term infants.
