The Department of Pediatrics IS Group provides Microsoft licenses to Department of Pediatrics members using the UW Microsoft Campus Agreement. This provides most Microsoft software (Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, etc.) to department members for work use. Additional details on this agreement may be found on the UW's UWare website at: https://www.washington.edu/uware/microsoft/
If you are a member of the Department of Pediatrics and would like to purchase Microsoft software for your personal use, you may do so at discounted rates using the "Home Use Program" (HUP). Under the program, you may purchase Microsoft products such as Office, Visio and Project for installation on your personal Windows or Mac computer. Microsoft will provide a link by email to download the software. You can opt to receive the software on DVD or USB drive for additional cost. Software must be purchased using personal funds and is considered your personal property as long as you remain employed by UW. Additional details may be found here: https://www.washington.edu/uware/microsoft/faq.html
