The Department of Pediatrics IS Group provides Microsoft licenses to Department of Pediatrics members using the UW Microsoft Campus Agreement. This provides most Microsoft software (Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, etc.) to department members for work use. Additional details on this agreement may be found on the UW's UWare website at: https://www.washington.edu/uware/microsoft/
If you are a member of the Department of Pediatrics and would like to purchase Microsoft software for your personal use, you may do so at discounted rates using the "Home Use Program" (HUP). With this program, you may purchase Microsoft products with personal funds for personal use at a discounted rate (e.g. $9.95 + tax for Office Enterprise). Microsoft will send you a CD with the software, which is considered your personal (non-UW) property. Additional details may be found here: https://www.washington.edu/uware/microsoft/faq.html
