Elinor Graham Named First Rodriguez-Trias WinnerEllie Graham, MD, MPH is the first recipient of the prestigious APHA Helen Rodriguez-Trias Award for Social Justice. Congratulations, Ellie for this great honor.
Faculty NewsCraig Bennett, PhD has received a new research grant, "CMT1C: possible defects in PMP22 regulation due to SIMPLE mutations, 7/01/05-6/30/08 from the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Phillip Chance, MD has been re-appointed to the Medical Advisory Committee of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, National headquarters, Tucson, and Chairman of the Scientific Review Committee, The Les Turner ALS Association, Chicago.

Luke Hoffman, MD has received a K08 award, entitled, "Antibiotic-mediated Adaptation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa" in July 1, 2005. In addition, Luke also received a two-year renewal in July 2005 for his Leroy Matthews Physician Scientist Award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, entitled "Alteration of Virulence Gene Expression by Sublethal Cationic Antibiotic Concentrations in Pseudomonas aeruginosa."
