Department Administrative Policies

Department Cell Phone Policy:
The Department Finance Committee has recommended and Bruder has approved a new policy on funding faculty cell phones using CUMG funds. Effective April 1, 2005 Divisions will have the option of paying for two cell phones to be used to ensure timely communication with referring physicians and improve patient care. One cell phone will be provided to the Division Chief to be used at his/her discretion or delegation, the second is issued to be used by the faculty member on call. Service for phones that are currently paid through CUMG that do not qualify as one of these two divison phones will be discontinued April 1. A copy fo the policy is attached for your review. For more information contact your division chief or email Patty Adams (Patricia.Adams@seattlechildrens.org).

CUMG Incentive Checks -Now Mailed to Your Home:
CUMG has transitioned to a new payroll processing agent. Along with this change comes a change in handling CUMG incentive checks. In order to take advantage of this system and to decrease risk of misplaced, and therefore cancelled, incentive checks, all incentive checks and automatic deposit notices will be mailed to your home rather than hand delivered through the Department's administrative offices. Please note that on April 1, 2005 incentive checks will not be delivered to your offices.
