Faculty members in the Pediatric Infectious Disease Program are dedicated to the success of our fellows. Fellows interact with the clinical faculty while caring for patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Fellows also interact with a large number of research faculty members through by conducting research, as members of their scholarly oversight committee and through conferences.

The leadership for the training program is provided by Dr. Matthew Kronman and Dr. Lisa Frenkel, MD. As program director, Dr. Kronman provides administrative oversight of all training elements required for board certification in Pediatric Infectious Disease by the American Board of Pediatrics, and Dr. Frenkel provides mentoring and oversight of all research conducted by our fellows. Dr. Frenkel is also the Principle Investigator of the NIH-sponsored training grant for our fellowship.
