Dermatology Fellowship

OVERVIEW

The Seattle Children’s Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship is a funded, one year ABD approved program which provides comprehensive training in all aspects of pediatric dermatology. Fellows work with 4 board certified dermatologists to care for inpatients and outpatients at Seattle Children’s Hospital, affiliated with the University of Washington. Trainees obtain hands-on procedural experience in both the OR and clinic, including excisions and a wide range of lasers. We have multiple specialty clinics including alopecia, dermatology-rheumatology, dermatology-immunology, genetics, tuberous sclerosis, teledermatology, and vascular anomalies. Fellows have ample time for scholarly pursuits, and the opportunity to teach residents and medical students. At the conclusion of training, fellows who have been board certified in dermatology will be board eligible in pediatric dermatology and well prepared for their future careers.
