The Conjoint UW A&I Fellowship Training Program Committee (William R. Henderson, MD, Chair) formulate training policies, reviews applicants for the training program, and evaluates the progress of the A&I fellows in achieving the 50/25/25% curriculum requirements for direct patient care, research and scholarly activities, and other educational objectives, described in the Program Requirements for Residency Education in Allergy and Immunology.
The Conjoint UW A&I Fellowship Advisory Committee (Mary V. Lasley, MD, Chair) also evaluates how the trainees progress from a novice to an expert A&I practitioner as they attain the general and A&I-specific ACGME-defined competencies and provides a confidential forum for the trainees to voice comments/criticisms/suggestions regarding any aspect of the UW A&I training program.
