The goal of the Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program is to produce Physician Scientist and Clinical Investigators to assume leadership roles in the field of academic Pediatric Nephrology. This goal is accomplished by an intense year of clinical training in all aspects of Pediatric Nephrology practice, followed by two years of comprehensive training in either basic science research or clinical investigation. The clinical research program allows the fellow to obtain an MPH from the School of Public Health and Epidemiology in addition to pursuing clinical investigation in the pediatric nephrology population. The fellowship program fulfills all requirements for Board Certification in Pediatric Nephrology.
