The University of Washington Department of Radiation Oncology offers comprehensive training programs and opportunities for physician residents, medical physics residents, medical students, and fellows. Our world-class team of Radiation Oncology providers has extensive expertise in treating a wide range of cancers — from more common diagnoses to the extremely rare — using the most comprehensive range of radiation technologies available in the world.
Dr. Rengan became Department Chair in April 2020.
Dr. Rengan is the Peter Wootton Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at UW Medicine, Senior Vice President of the Division of Radiation Oncology and Faculty of the Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization that also serves as UW Medicine’s cancer program.
