Trumba FAQs

Bill Schaefer from ACA and Fang Lin from UW-IT will address the UW community’s most common questions regarding Trumba, the UW event calendar system. Learn how to avoid calendar duplicates, whether custom event types or more event types are possible, plus UW-IT’s future plans for Trumba. Their presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A session.

Mobile Minute

A monthly snapshot from the mobile world.

Development for touch screens

Web Team developer Jon Swanson will give us a primer on developing for touch screens. Prepare to learn all about basic touch events, the associated event object and its properties. Jon will also share how to use JavaScript’s touch events to create your own custom touch interface.

UW SharePoint

Greg Fricks from ACA will share examples of how people are using SharePoint to support their units and processes. He will also update us on a new direction for Office 365 and UW SharePoint.
