Instructors: Record and Upload Lectures Anywhere

UW-IT is rolling out Tegrity, a cloud-based video and screen capture service that allows you (and your students) to post and share content.

With Tegrity, you can record and upload lectures anywhere, without having to use additional hardware: record from any Mac or Windows computer with a Web cam and microphone. No Internet connection is required so you can record from your classroom, office, home, or coffee shop.

Tegrity helps students by encouraging them to focus in class: knowing they can take notes later, they can pay better attention and engage with you and classmates. Outside of class, Tegrity gives students more opportunities to review material for exams, searching and reviewing complex concepts at their own pace. And they can do this from any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer with Internet access.

Tegrity is available to students and instructors on any UW campus. To learn more about Tegrity, visit the UW Tegrity site.
