Odegaard Videoconference Studio
The Odegaard Videoconference Studio was purposely designed with collaboration and conferencing in mind, featuring stadium-style seating that can accommodate 16 people comfortably. Examples of groups that might take advantage of the studio are researchers that need to confer with colleagues from other institutions, and administrative groups on campus that need to meet with their colleagues who are at different locations.

About the Videoconference Studio
Layout: stadium-style seating
Videoconference Technologies: Access Grid Node, ConferenceXP, Polycom
Displays: Three (3) 50-inch plasma screens
Connectivity: H.323 (IP) and H.320 (ISDN)
Other Tech: Room PC, input jack for Laptop sharing, fully-wired power and Ethernet at each seat, automated camera/microphone system, wireless connectivity
The Odegaard Videoconference Studio is designed to be flexible and can accommodate connectivity with most far-end locations. Using the built in PC or a personal laptop; users can display other necessary information or presentations, including PowerPoint slides, on the studio's plasma screens as well. This studio is not designed for normal instruction. Reservation requests are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
