Installing OSA on Windows

With Online Software Access, you can use select Microsoft and Adobe Software from any computer with an Internet connection. Before using OSA, you must first install the client software on your computer.

To install Online Software Access on a Windows computer, follow these steps:

Note: JavaScript must be enabled on your browser to install and use OSA.
  1. Go to the OSA log on page to begin the installation process.
  2. You may encounter a message that says "This site's security certificate is not trusted." If so, install the UW Services CA Certificate before proceeding with the OSA installation.
  3. Enter your UW NetID and password in the provided space. Click Log On. You will move to the "Download Client Software" page.
  4. Click the checkbox to accept the license agreement. The Download button will become active.
  5. Click Download. A dialog box will appear.
  6. Click Save File. The file "XenAppWeb.msi" will download to your default location.
  7. Click thumbnail to view full image.
  8. Double-click the "XenAppWeb.msi" icon. The OSA client will install.
  9. On the OSA Web page, click Continue to complete the installation. If installation is successful, the main OSA applications page will appear.
  10. Click an application icon to open and begin working.
