LST UX Designer Presents Wiki Research at Four Conferences
Since Spring 2009, LST UX Designer and iSchool PhD candidate, Ammy Phuwanartnurak has presented her academic research at four international conferences. Phuwanartnurak's research explores the role of wikis in interdisciplinary design, or more specifically, how wikis enable information sharing in software development projects. The findings of her work expand our understanding of the information sharing behavior of design professionals. This research also provides empirical evidence on the use of wikis in design work, which can be used to develop guidelines on the effective use of wikis to support design collaboration. All four presentations have been published in the online conference proceedings.
