Add teaching assistants to courses

Teaching Assistants (TAs) need to be officially affiliated with a course to have instructor access to Tegrity. This can be achieved by designating a TA as a co-instructor with the UW Office of the Registrar.

This can be accomplished in multiple ways:

• Contact your department Time Schedule Administrator (has access to the Student Database) to have the teaching assistant assigned to a course.
• The instructor(s) of record may do this via the MyClass Resources channel in MyUW. Instructors will need the TA's UWnetID to add them to a course.
  
• Follow directions from the UW Office of the Registrar (see section "Choosing a delegate) to add the TA as a co-instructor of record (also called a grading delegate).
