Impersonate a User

Impersonating a user allows departmental administrative staff to see how the user experiences Tegrity. Impersonating a user is also useful to troubleshoot and assist with issues. For example, IT staff could edit or move a recording for an instructor. Access can be requested by contacting tegrity@uw.edu.

Follow these steps to impersonate a user:

1. Go to Tegrity Admin Login and log in using your admin credentials.
2. In the Admin Dashboard, under Users, click Impersonate User.

3. In the empty box, enter the username (UW NetID)@washington.edu.
4. A new window will launch showing how the user experiences Tegrity.
