When a Tegrity recording is created, a copy of the file is saved to the hard-drive of the computer that created it (a laptop, classroom computer, etc.). This procedure explains how to locate the files created by the Tegrity recording for the purpose of archiving, advanced editing, and other uses.

On a PC (Windows 7)

Note: By default, Windows hides the "Program Data" folder, which is where Tegrity recordings are stored. To make the folder viewable, follow these steps:

  1. In the bottom left corner of the screen, click the Windows Start button.
  2. Click Computer.
  3. Click Organize.
  4. Click Folder Options.
  5. Click the View tab.
  6. Click Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives.

Follow these steps to locate your Tegrity recordings:

  1. In the bottom left corner of the screen, click the Windows Start button.
  2. Select the C: drive.
  3. Double-click the folders: Program Data, then Tegrity, and then Recordings. 
  4. Locate the name of the specific recording you are looking for. If the recording is not named, you can search by date.
  5. Double-click the folders: Class, and then Projector. Your Tegrity recordings should appear in this folder. 

On a Mac (Mountain Lion 10.8.2)

  1. On the Finder menu, click Go.
  2. On the keyboard, hold down the option/alt key. The folder Library will appear.
  3. Double-click the folders: Library, then Application Support, then Tegrity Recorder, and then Recordings. 
  4. Locate the name of the specific recording you are looking for. If the recording is not named, you can search by date.
