Convert Scores with the Conversion Calculator

You can use the conversion calculator to help you fill in values for the grading scale in converting the total scores to class grades.  The conversion calculator does this by letting you define two or more points on the grading scale, and then completes the rest of the scale for you.

To convert scores to class grades using the conversion calculator, follow these steps:

1. From the account page, click the name of the grade book that you want to edit. You will move to the main view of the grade book.
2. On the grade sheet, click Class grade. A drop-down menu will open.
3. Click Convert scores. You will move to the "Convert Scores to Class Grades" page.
4. Select Convert total scores. The conversion table will appear.
5. From the panel to the right of the conversion table, select a grading system. The class grade column will be populated.
6. Click Conversion Calculator. The calculator will appear. If you selected a grading system, The highest and lowest credit grades will be filled in automatically.
7. Enter minimum percentage scores in the spaces at the left, and the equivalent class grade in the space at the right.
8. Once you select a grading system, values you enter in the calculator must be one of the grades already listed in the conversion table. If you want to add additional points, click +Add a row, and then enter values.
9. Click Apply. The grade conversion table will be populated.
10. Click Save.
