To create a new folder, follow these steps:

  1. On the File Manager home page, click on the file system you want to use. You will move into the file tree view of that system.
  2. Navigate to the folder where you want to create a new folder. Click the folder to open the flyout menu and click New folder. A form will appear containing a default new folder name.
  3. If you are already in the folder contents view, you can click moveNew folder in the folder panel (the gray box at the top of the page) to create a new folder.
  4. Enter a name for the new folder in the space provided. You may use letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, and hyphens in file names. Do not use special characters or symbols.
  5. Click Save to create the new folder. If you do not want to create the folder, click Cancel.
