Introduction to Type

Type, also known as text, is the cornerstone of your document. Without type, you might as well have used Adobe Photoshop for your project. InDesign has key advantages over Microsoft Word and Photoshop where type is concerned; for example, InDesign can treat text as an object to rotate and skew, but you can still edit the text after these operations are completed. InDesign excels in managing and altering type, as we will explore below.
