Rotating & Skewing
You can rotate objects in two ways. The first way is to click on the Rotate tool with the mouse and then click on the object to rotate. Click and drag in the direction of the desired rotation. You may also hold down the key to rotate the image in increments of 45 degrees. The other way to rotate an image is to change the Angle values in the upper right-hand corner of the Control palette for the Rotate tool. A negative value indicates clockwise rotation, whereas a positive value indicates counter-clockwise rotation.
Skewing allows you to stretch the borders of a particular object, lending an italic slant to a text box or stretching an image into a trapezoid. Skew can also be controlled from the Control palette for the Rotate tool. Positive skew values slant the image to the right, whereas negative values slant it to the left.
