Customize the Appearance of a Workspace
You can customize the appearance of your workspace by adding a custom banner or choosing a different color scheme for the workspace elements, including the navigation and announcements areas.
To add a banner image to your workspace, follow the steps below:
- From the Catalyst account page, click the name of the CommonView workspace with which you want to work.
- From the "Workspace actions" drop-down menu in the upper right, select Customize appearance. A dialog box will appear.
- Under "Customize workspace appearance," click Browse. A file dialog box will appear
- Select the banner image you want to use from the file dialog box and click Open. The image will appear at the top of the workspace.
- Select the preferred alignment. The image will move to the left, right, or center based on your selection.
- If an image background color is needed, click Choose.... A color palette will appear. Select the color you want, or type in the hexadecimal number for a color in the field provided. When you are finished selecting a color, click Done.
- Click Save to apply the banner changes, or Cancel.
- From the Catalyst account page, click the name of the CommonView workspace with which you want to work.
- From the "Workspace actions" drop-down menu in the upper right, select Customize appearance. A dialog box will appear.
- Under "Customize workspace appearance," select a color from the list for your CommonView workspace, or select "Custom color" and click Choose.... A color palette will appear. Select the color you want, or type in the hexadecimal number for a color in the field provided. When you are finished selecting a custom color, click Done.
- Click Save to apply the color changes, or Cancel.
