About Access and Roles
Participant access controls who can submit files to your dropbox. You can choose to allow anyone with a UW NetID to submit files to your dropbox, or you can restrict the access to a specific set of UW NetIDs that you choose.
You can give your colleagues the roles of administrator or commenter within your dropbox. Administrators can view and comment on participant work, and edit all aspects of the dropbox except delete it. Commenters can view and comment on participant work, but cannot edit the dropbox or its assignments.
The owner of the dropbox and any administrators or commenters cannot submit files to the dropbox or otherwise take action in the dropbox as a participant. If a person is given the ability to access the dropbox as a participant and as a higher role, such as commenter or administrator, their experience in the dropbox will default to their highest-listed role.
