UW Tacoma Paper & Stationery Building
1735 Jefferson Ave, Tacoma

Help us launch the yearlong Livable City Year partnership between the University of Washington and the City of Tacoma.

Livable City Year is a cross-university collaboration connecting local governments with University of Washington classes to address community-identified areas of need. UW students and professors will work with the city throughout the upcoming academic year on projects that advance goals outlined in the Tacoma 2025 Strategic Plan and the One Tacoma Comprehensive Plan.

UWT Chancellor Mark A. Pagano, Tacoma City Manager Elizabeth Pauli and UW and city leaders will speak about the partnership. Students, faculty and city project leads will also be on hand to discuss projects for the upcoming year.

For additional information, contact LCY Program Manager Teri Thomson Randall at terir@uw.edu.

All are welcome to attend, but RSVPs are appreciated for planning purposes.
