Patch Details
Patch Strategy
- Patches are reviewed weekly and applied when appropriate
- Unsecure applications are upgraded to the latest version
- Many patches are configured to be applied when no user is logged in to the system, so you will want to arrange some times when the system is turned on, connected to the UW campus network, but nobody is actually logged in
Program List
- Adobe: Acrobat, Reader, Flash Player, Shockwave Player
- Apple: iTunes, QuickTime
- Mozilla Firefox
- RealPlayer
- Skype
