Overview
The SSH Tectia Client allows users to transfer files to and from remote computers.
Tectia is an SFTP client for use with SSH servers. It comes with both a graphical user interface as well as command line applications.

System Requirements - Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Vista, and Windows 7
The package is compatible with the 32-bit(x86) and the 64-bit(x64) versions of Microsoft windows Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista, and Windows 7.
License Details
Current UW students, faculty and staff are eligible to use the software on UW-owned computers or on their personal computer to access University services.
- The UW license for support and maintenance of Tectia expired November 2010.
- WinSCP is a good open source (free) secure FTP alternative application for Windows.
- Fugu is a good alternative open source secure FTP application for Macintosh.
