Overview
Under the 2011-2012 agreement, Apple Macintosh OS X, iWork and iLife software may be installed and used on all UW-owned Apple computers.
License Details
The license provides this software for Apple systems owned by the University of Washington. This software is not for systems owned by individual students, faculty or staff.
Individual registration of products under campus license is not required. If prompted to register, you may skip that step.
There is no additional charge to departments. The costs for this software are covered by the basic service bundle.
Get Software
UW faculty and staff can obtain the software for their UW-owned Apple computer in one of two ways:

Note: IT staff may store copies for later use on multiple systems they manage.

The previous Apple Macintosh operating system, released August 2009.
The UW license permits systems to be updated to OS X 10.6. Systems must be running OS X 10.6.8 before updating to 10.7.
