Overview
Alpine is a program for Internet news and email.
Alpine and Pico (Alpine's message composition editor) were designed at the University of Washington.
Get Software
This directory contains a self-installing version of Alpine customized for the University of Washington networking environment.
To install Alpine:
- Download the installer.
- Run the file by double-clicking it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
This version of Alpine is configured specifically to work in the UW computing environment and is available to UW students, faculty and staff.
