Installing the UW services CA on Safari (Windows XP)

Instructions for Safari 3.0 on Windows XP
To install the UW Services CA Certificate using Safari on Windows XP:
Note: These instructions apply to Windows XP. They have not been tested on Windows Vista.

- Download the UW Services CA Certificate. This will open a new File Download window.
- Click the "Open" button in the File Download window. This will open a new Certificate Window.
- Click the "Install Certificate" button in the Certificate window. This will open the Certificate Import Wizard.
- Click the "Next" button.
- Click the top radio button labeled "Automatically select a certificate store based on the type of certificate". This button should be checked by default.
- Click the "Next" button.
- Click the "Finish" button. This will open a Security Warning window.
- Verify that the thumbprint numbers match in the Security Warning window. The correct thumbprint value is B9768FDA 34545646 9A0BAE38 64FE0055 C9E6357F. If the values do not match, click No.
- Click the "Yes" button in the Security Warning window to install the UW Services CA certificate. This should open a Window that says "The import was successful."
- Click the "OK" button.
