UW's First Science DMZ
UW is deploying the first phases of a 100G Science DMZ to accommodate the needs of data driven discovery in Physics, Oceanography and Computer Science and Engineering, along with researchers from across campus utilizing our large scale Hyak and Lolo clusters. It is envisioned that after this initial installation, the UW Science DMZ may be more broadly deployed to accommodate further "Big Data" science in social sciences, biomedical research and public health.
