The top level pages of this site run on the Typepad blogging software by Sixapart. Most of the content pages are on the www.washington.edu server.
Comment Policy for IT Connect News
IT Connect News aims to keep UW students, faculty, and staff informed about information technology resources and developments at the UW. To support this role and encourage open communication about these issues, readers are invited to post comments on any news story, according to the following policy:
- Comments should relate to the overall purpose of IT Connect News as stated above. No spam.
- Comments should not be disrespectful to individuals or groups of people; use abusive, demeaning, or prejudicial language; or make personal attacks.
- To ensure that IT Connect plays its intended role, IT Connect editors reserve the right to remove or modify comments.
- Persons who consistently abuse the commenting feature of this site will be blocked from posting.
- Comments are closed two months after the original post.
