The recent worldwide outbreak of H1N1 flu (previously known as swine flu), has resulted in new research on viruses, public policy decisions, and massive communications worldwide. University of Washington faculty in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, and virology have expertise touching upon many of these issues.
