The C-client mailing list

The C-client mailing list is dedicated to discussion and announcements related to the c-client library for mail software (and the UW IMAP server). Archives of the mailing list can be accessed via anonymous FTP or anonymous IMAP on the host ftp.cac.washington.edu in the folder /imap/c-client_archive.

To subscribe:

Send email to: listproc@u.washington.edu with the message text (message subject is ignored):

    subscribe c-client YourName

where YourName is your full name. When you subscribe, you will receive a message with information about the list, including how to sign off from the mailing list; please save it for future reference.

To unsubscribe:

Send email to: listproc@u.washington.edu with the message text (message subject is ignored):

    unsubscribe c-client

To post messages to this list (for all subscribers to read):

Send email to: c-client@u.washington.edu


Use descriptive subject lines in your messages to the list. Do not send messages requesting subscription to/removal from the list to this address. In order to reduce the impact of unsolicited commercial email messages, only subscribers to the mailing list can post messages to it.

If your preference is to post to the list without receiving the postings (for example, you may want to read the messages in the archives instead), after subscribing to the list, send a message to listproc@u.washington.edu with the message text (message subject is ignored):

    set c-client mail postpone

Questions or comments regarding administration of the list can be sent to: owner-c-client@cac.washington.edu (questions regarding the c-client software sent to this address will not be answered).

For instruction on interacting with the ListProc mailing list server, send a message with the command:

	     HELP user.ref

in the body of the message (the subject is irrelevant) to: listproc@u.washington.edu
