Tennis Singles Tournament

The tournament is double elimination.

ENTRY FEE

Singles $15.00 per person

ENTRY DEADLINE

Tuesday, July 3, 2018 @ 5:00pm

PLAYING DAYS/TIMES

Participants will be responsible for completing the matches and reporting the results to the Programs Office prior to the reporting deadline on the schedule.  Matches will be mutually arranged by the participants.  You are responsible for reserving your own court.

ENTRY PROCEDURES

Team captains must register and pay for their entry/team prior to the deadline at reg.recreation.uw.eduEntries will be taken on-line on a first come first serve basis beginning June 25th. Entries will be accepted after the deadline if space is available. We will be using reg.recreation.uw.edu/fusionIM to manage the tournaments.  

ELIGIBILITY
  • All current full-time matriculated UW Seattle students and anyone with an IMA membership are eligible. Membership information can be found here.
  • Outdoor Participation Membership available to current faculty/staff and summer students in lieu of a full IMA membership.  For more details go here.

Players may participate on only one open team.

SCHEDULING SKILL LEVELS

If any particular class is lacking in numbers, enough for a proper tournament, we will contact each person and inquire about refunding the fee or moving up to the next skill level.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

After the entry deadline passes, teams are placed in the brackets on a random basis. The draw is posted in the IMA Building and on reg.recreation.uw.edu/fusionIM. No refunds after the draw has been posted on Friday, , 2018.

Matches will be mutually arranged by the participants. The winner of each match must report the score to the Programs Office or Intramural Manager prior to the due date on the schedule. Players should also check to see when their next match is due, and who their opponents are.
