Wiffleball Home Run Derby

ACTIVITY

The home run derby is organized into 4 groups (A, B, C, D) of pool play. Participants within each group will compete with others in that pool for the most overall home runs.  The winner of each pool will advance to a final against the other pool winners.

The object is to hit as many home runs as possible before accruing 10 outs. Any pitch swung at, and not hit for a home run (beyond the fence in fair play), will be recorded as an out.  Players may choose not to swing at pitches, which does not count against the number of outs accrued.  Home runs also do not count against the out total.

In the event of a tie, there will be a 2 minute running clock swing-off between the contestants. If there is still a tie, each hitter will alternate three swings until a winner is decided.
